제이든 영의 단독설립자인 현재영 대표이사는 기업재무 및 금융업계에서 18년 이상의 경력을 보유하고 있으며, 투자유치부터 국내외 인수합병(M&A)까지 광범위한 금융자문경험을 보유하고 있습니다.

현재영 대표이사는 제이든 영 설립 이전 십 수년간 세계 일류 투자은행과 컨설팅사에서 기업재무 및 금융 관련 업무를 담당하여 풍부한 경험과 폭넓은 네트워크를 구축해왔습니다.

제이든 영 설립 전 현재영 대표이사는 한국에서 활발한 투자활동으로 유명한 벤처캐피탈인 네오플럭스(두산그룹 계열 투자사)에서 2년간 근무하였습니다. 네오플럭스에 있는 동안 홍콩 사모펀드와 협력하여 해외투자자들로부터 출자를 받아 3억 달러 규모의 특수목적 사모펀드를 공동
조성한 바 있습니다.

네오플럭스에 합류하기 전 현재영 대표이사는 한국 에이비엔암로(ABN AMRO, 네덜란드계 투자은행) 기업금융부서에서 부장(Senior Manager)으로 근무하며 국내는 물론 해외 다수의 기업인수합병(M&A)관련 자문서비스를 제공하였습니다. 공개매입, 해외인수합병, 일괄매각 등의 거래에서 현재영 대표이사는 금융구조설계, 실사, 가치평가, 금융거래 문서화 등 다양한 실무에 관여, 총괄하였습니다.

네덜란드 투자은행 합류 전 현재영 대표이사는 아더 앤더슨(Arthur Anderson) 한국지사 국제기업금융부 및 딜로이트 투쉬(Deloitte Touche) 기업금융부에서 과장(Senior Associate)으로 근무하며 기업구조조정 및 국내외 인수합병(M&A) 자문 서비스를 담당하였습니다. 국제 기업금융 자문사에서 수 차례 기업구조조정, 해외 인수합병(M&A) 및 투자유치 거래에 투입되어 문서화, 금융구조설계, 가치평가 및 실사경험을 축적하였습니다.

세계 일류 투자은행 중 하나인 메릴린치(Merrill Lynch) 미국본사에서 금융 분석가(Financial Analyst)로 금융 커리어 첫 발을 내딛은 현재영 대표이사는 국제개인고객부서(International Private Client Group)부서에서 해외 다수의 금융기관, Wealth Family 자산관리 및 개인고객들을 위한 자산운용 자문서비스를 제공하였습니다.

현재영 대표이사는 미국 켄터키주립대학교에서 (경제학 전공)학사로 졸업한 뒤
영국 맨체스터경영대학원에서 경영학 석사(MBA)를 취득하였습니다.

Over 18 years of experience in the specialized financial industry, the sole founder of Jadyn Young, Mr. Jay Y. Hyun has conducted and performed extensive financial advisory services from capital raising to domestic as well as cross-border mergers & acquisitions (M&A). Mr. Hyun has acquired and built its extensive financial experiences and networks while working at one of the most prestigious and recognized bulge bracket investment banks and consulting firms in the World, specialized in corporate finance over a decade before founding the Company.

Before founding Jadyn Young, he spent two years in the one of the most active and well-known Korean venture capital firms in Korea, Neoplux, an affiliate company for the Doosan Group, a Korean conglomerate. While he was within the venture capital firm, he has co-raised and co-set up a Korean real estate private equity fund whose fund size of USD 300 million, with a Hong-Kong based private equity firm from international investors.

Prior to joining the venture capital firm, Mr. Hyun was involved in a number of international financial transactions including tender offering, cross-border M&A transactions, block-sales in which he has conducted and performed deal structuring, due diligence, valuation as well as financial documentation while working at ABN AMRO Securities Investment Banking Division in Seoul, Korea, as a senior manager.

Prior to joining in the investment bank, Mr. Hyun has built its extensive corporate finance advisory service experience within Deloitte Touche Corporate Finance and Arthur Anderson Global Corporate Finance, which merged with Deloitte Touche in Korea. While working as a senior associate in Korea at those global corporate finance advisors, Mr. Hyun had various opportunities in experiencing and performing various types of roles involving documentation, deal structuring, valuation, due diligence in a number of international transactions from corporate restructuring to cross-border M&As to capital raising deals.

Mr. Hyun has started its financial career in the US at Merrill Lynch, one of the most well recognized and renown international investment banks in the World, as an financial analyst working at the international private client group and asset management group, whose focus is on providing asset management advisory services for the international financial institutions, the high net-wealth family offices and individuals.

Mr. Hyun received a M.B.A. from Manchester Business School in England and a B.Sc. from University of Kentucky in US.
